In July, both an issue forum in Northern Virginia and the Richmond Ambassadors discussion addressed the different views on immigration in our communities and proposed reforms in Congress and the state General Assembly. This pace of immigration and the debate over reform continues to impact Virginia in different ways. It has taken our neighbors and family members in the National Guard away from home to assist on the border. It sometimes causes conflict in local communities. And as we heard from some of the young people at our issue forum, it can affect young people who have been raised and attended high school in Virginia and their ability to attend college.

What are your concerns about immigration reform and what would you like to see our legislators do? What did you think of these articles? What about the forum? Was there another question you would have liked to ask?
